As you journey forward – GRACE will help you keep the PACE
Hold fast to what I have given you; the promises I have told you. Do not forget My words. I will sift every word spoken to you so that only what is pure remains. Take what you see and write it down. Keep it before you. Remind Me that you believe My words and know that I will never fail you. I will never forsake you for you are My precious one and I know your heart far more intimately than even you. I know all the hurts that still cling and I desire for you to rest with Me by the flow of the brook and listen. Still yourself, hear and look. What do you see upon the waters flowing through? (A tapestry)
Draw it from the water…a golden tapestry. It is worn and covered with debris from the journey but I want to reveal the beauty that is beneath all that. You will see where you have been, where you are and I will embroider the next occurrence to unfold. I will lay it out in the colors most fitting and the number of stitches required and the space that will best suit it.
I know you see this tapestry like a rug pulled from beneath you that left you stumbling to grab hold of what was safe and what was sure, but not what, WHO. You placed our trust in Me knowing I would never steer you wrong. You held fast during the storms and when the fog rolled over the land and you could not see, you held. When there were sounds that could unnerve you, you secured the helmet around your head and allowed My robe to surround you. When the thief came and you least expected, you watched for My hand to provide. You trusted.
All the while, you held your children close that they might also know where your heart lies, where your trust rests, where your hope comes from. Your faith spills over to their lives and they will carry what I have in them to places you may never have expected.
Now the skies are clearing and you can see where my light is bringing new hope for a new season. Behold the door that stands in the valley. Won’t you join me and step through? You will be leaving a familiar place but the journey is not far as I have put the door so close.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
“Walk by faith, not by sight.”
